SKILL LEVELS

The skill level of the workers will be accessed and maintained by use of the

below listed requirements. Considering the simple nature of most of this work,

levels of skill will be based on the number of shows done. Most shows are at

least three days, if not more, of experience.

We have training classes of our own for the qualifying of forklift

drivers and aerial equipment operators. These classes are in accordance

with the requirements of OSHA for the qualifying of such personnel.

The people selected for forklift driver and riggers training will also have

prior experience with forklifts and aerial booms. For the most part, two years

of prior experience in this or other industries will be required of our applicants.

Needless to say that as you advance up the ladder, you will make more money.

But dependability, showing up on time, will get you raises faster than anything.

If you come into this business with a can do attitude and good reliability, then

you will attract potential jobs as well. Our clients are big players in a field that

covers many areas. Stand out and they will be after you to come to work for them.

This generally means travel all over the country handling shows for them working

on salary. It is usually a big salary but it is also a big job and responsibility.

If approached with an offer, by all means consider it. We hate to loose good workers

but you are not obligated to stay. Some of our people have even wound up

working in the film industry..

But you will travel on this job. We work in the Charlotte Convention Center &

The Hickory Metro Center as well as the Greenville Convention Center and

Myrtle Beach Convention Center and everything in between. We set-up a show at a

Kate's Skating Rink in Indian Trail once. Most travel is usually under fifty

Miles and if much further we get you travel pay. And sometimes a motel room if

You are way off down the road. And a food allowance and the client will sometimes

Take you out to party at night. It can be a fun job. But that's after you get good at it.
